DJ Young Music had a chance encounter with 50 Cent recently at the Effen showcase, where the two enjoyed a laugh. Young Music can be heard referring to himself as “25,” which drew laughs from onlookers, including the rapper turned serial entrepreneur.

Washington, DC – In inking a deal to become the youngest DJ to ever join the stable of SuperRadio’s massive network, DJ Young Music (DJYM) continues to live up to his name and the standard DYMG Entertainment (his independent label) built. Super Radio Network boasts a database that distributes 40 radio programs through 725 stations, 150 of them based in top 50 markets. A mega deal for DJ Young Music, the agreement will boost the 19-year-old’s weekly audience to an estimated 30 million.

Super Radio Networks was drawn to DJ Young Music for the broad audience he’s amassed, which rakes in more than 15 million listeners every week.

World Class tennis returned to the Nation’s Captital this weekend as the Citi Open drew players from various corners of the continent – all of whom played for the chance to advance during qualifying rounds. Shade Jenifer, was on hand to take in the tournament and also treated the festive crowd to a memorable performance.
WPGC’s Joe Clair was participated as guest emcee, while a number of local and nationally recognized mascots – including the Geico Gecko, DC United’s Talon and Jack the Bulldog from Georgetown University – put on for the Annual Mascot Challenge. Read more
